The Health Access Nurturing Development Services (HANDS) program is a voluntary home visitation program for all first time parents (mothers and fathers).  All families receive information and learn about resources available in Anderson County at the first visit.  As a bonus for accepting the first home visit, all families will receive a $25 gift card to Wal-Mart.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is designed to prevent cervical cancer and other diseases caused by infection with HPVs and is the first vaccine to be developed against a known risk factor for the development of a cancer. Both males and females between the ages of 9 to 26 can get the vaccine FREE at the Anderson County Health Department!
